Driver files or digital tachograph files can be uploaded by multiple methods some of them requiring user intervention some of them can be done automatically by the TachoSAFE system.
Tacho4SAFE, Tacho5SAFE can upload files automatically but the download of tachograph or card must be triggered by the user.
The TachoSAFE RDU GPRS, TachhoSAFE RDU 4G can upload files directly to the system without any intervention on behalf of the user. The process is completely automatic and requires no attention from the driver.
If you are using 3rd party devices you will still have the possibility to upload files by following the instructions below.

- Click Upload menu

- For manual download devices such as Tacho2SAFE navigate to My computer\This PC and look for TACHO2SAFE labeled drive(you might need to expand the This PC tree if it's collapsed)
- Alternatively you can upload your backed up files from the TachoSAFE Lite application too, by navigating to C:\TachoSAFE 1.0 Lite\Backup folder and selecting the drivers or vehicles you wish to upload
