The Tacho5SAFE device has enough battery to power over a 100 driver card downloads and over 50 vehicle downloads until it needs a recharge with default settings. Larger or smaller  tachograph download periods may affect operation time of the device with one charge.

Connect with the provided or aftermarket microUSB cable to a charger or your computer serial port and let the device charge the battery.

The battery indicator will show the status of the current charge.
