To perform an update please follow the steps below: 

1. With Tacho2Safe serial number request the Device unique ID from  tacho2safe@svt.ro.
2. Download the attached file Tacho2Safe_G2_Updater.exe
3. Enter the received Device unique ID into the textbox

4. Hold down F1 & F4 buttons on your Tacho2Safe then connect the USB cable to your PC

5. Wait until update completes

6. Unplug the USB cable

Note: This update does not support the newest smart2 or g2v2 tachographs.
